"Flat iron steak is the American name for the cut known as Butlers' steak in the UK and oyster blade steak in Australia and New Zealand. This cut of steak is from the shoulder of a beef animal. The steak encompasses the teres minor and infraspinatus muscles of beef." (wikipedia)
I am trying to order Flat Iropn Steak from my butcher in Basel, Switzerland - but I will need some more information for him to know what I am talking about.
Does anybody know how it would be called in other European languages (French, Italian, German would be the most helpful)?
